Chicken Burger - Boronia Park Chicken Shop

The chicken shop in Boronia park makes the best Chicken burger combo in the whole of Sydney’s north west suburbs. Included with this combo you get a large side of chips and a can of your choice of drink. Location is perfect, and the back of the store parking makes getting the burger a lot easier. The Combo comes to the price of $10 which is very cheap for such an amazing burger considering on how filling and delicious it is.

If you compare the combo to most of the meal and burgers at Maccas you can already tell the burger has been made with love and passion and the chips have the crunch of a French fry but the filling of a real potato. When your initially get the combo, it is presented in a basic take away box however the box is simple to use and contains the meal perfectly and contains the burger very well stopping it from fall apart when


The only other chicken shop which could even equate would be Putney’s charcoal chicken however you will never know what exactly standard you will get there as they always make a burger between 4-8 scale whereas at Boronia they consistently make an 8-9 burger. There bun of the burger is toasted but soft and the chicken is layered between a cheese slice melting perfectly and giving the burger a great texture and flavour. The cherry on top for this burger is the way the salad dressing mixes with the burger sauce creating a very spicy yet very creamy sauce.

Even though this burger is not a designer burger or one of those Instagram worthy looking burger that cost a dime, this Boronia burger shares its own category of burgers. For this Combo it is well worth the Greatest and cheapest hangover cure and the juiciest and phattest burger combo titles. With the perfect price that does put a dent in your bank account and how tasty the burger is I would have to give this burger a 5/5!!

This Don ('Donburi' meaning rice bowl) is served with marinated wagyu beef garnished with sesame seeds and spring onions alongside pickled ginger, dry fried garlic, a poached egg and seaweed garlic butter - all atop a base of rice. The beef was quite tender and was well seasoned, it was perfect when accompanied by the rich buttery sauce. The poached egg and fried garlic both helped amplify the favour and texture of the dish when the yolk is broken and mixed in with the rest of, it made the dish more crispy and creamy at the same time. The inclusion of the pickled ginger was a must, since it plays an important role in cutting through the fattiness in the beef and sauce, with it's zingy flavour. It has a buttermilk deep fried chicken breast, lettuce, American cheese and ranch sauce. God it was a mighty big burger and was amazing to eat.
