Bob's Boy - Burger Point

"8 hour Braised Pulled Pork in chilli maple and mesquite BBQ sauce, Burger Point house sauce, jalapeño, topped with kumara chips and tangy garlic dressing."

As soon as I read this I knew I had to try it - and the burger didn't disappoint. My first bite, how would I describe it?

Amazing - the the succulent pulled pork seemed to melt as I chewed, accompanied by a kumara chips (thin strands of fried sweet potato) created a unique contrast of texture which compelled me to take another bite.

The pulled pork had really rich flavor, which I thought could possible overwhelm the burger - but instead I was proved wrong, the tangy garlic dressing and slaw helped cut through the rich pork and bought balance to the burger.

I had realised that they used a toasted milk bun for the burger which aided in making a potentially heavy burger, to be light and filling. Leaving me with just enough room for a milkshake!

Overall, great experience at Burger Point, it was a bustling and vibrant lunch and the burgers are definitely worth it (Bob's Boy - $13, Purple Dulce Milkshake - $7).
